For me, a short story is like a first date, if I spend the first fifteen minutes wondering what I’m even doing there, the chances that things will progress much further are right around none.

Do you send rejection notices?
"Read something, (for the second or third time)." I'm reading LITTLE WOMEN. I haven't read it in 37 years. I still want to be Jo.
